I was playing around with some text filtering on the logs using grep, sed, cut, sort, and uniq and I teased out the top 100 photos viewed since January 1, 2005. We have some popular pooches!

I used this:

grep '/gallery/albums/' .../access_logs* | grep -v '.highlight.' | grep -v '.thumb.' | cut -d']' -f2 | sed 's/"GET /]http:\/\/www.sheltoweetrace.com/g' | cut -d']' -f2 | sed 's/.jpg/.jpg]/g' | cut -d']' -f1 | sed 's/HTTP/]/g' | cut -d']' -f1 | sed 's/http:/[url=http:/g' | sed 's/jpg/jpg]The Photo[\/url]/g' | sort | uniq -c | sort -nr | head --lines=100

any improvements? Note: I had to replace the urls with something shorter to prevent longlines.
