It occurs to me that I don't have much to offer to the STA, but I have some minimal skills related to running around in the woods. I occasionaly do a multisport training day at Laurel Lake, something that mimics some of what one encounters in an adv race or adv tri. Just alittle frolic to get focused.
If anyone on here is interested, I'll post for an outing.
Probably the Lake trail one way (9.5miles) via mtb, then 60-90 minutes in a kayak, and about 5 miles or so of trail run. (before you ask, I will be thrashed by the end. it's fun though!) The actual order of the legs will be determined by how hard we want to go!
If anyone is interested in adv racing, I can also provide a few (hard earned) tips on strategy, gear, and navigation.
That's about all I'm good for.........!
Please post if interested. |

It sounds interesting. I've been considering geting a mtb but I'm not so sure I could or would use it enough to make it worth the cost. Also been trying to decide whether I want a kayak or a canoe, as I'm thinking of making a trek down the Ohio river to Kentucky lake. |
