I was wondering which GPS would be good to get to use MTBing the TRace? I can get Garmins any of these good?

If I plan on riding the Trace is the GPS on this site good enough to navigate the trail with? I know some sections like Croomer ridge and not marked well I am sure there are some others I know I tried to ride some other sections north of Morehead and we go lost.

thanks

I have a Garmin GPSMAP 60cx which I am very happy with. I've been using it to map dayhikes that I do within two hours of Cincy, including many RRG hikes.

Smitty, it's good to see ya turn up around here. Greg S and I pulled a 3 day mtb trip on the Trace last summer. Aside from alot of flats, and alot of rain, we had a big time.

Give me a holler if you want company on a section. Last spring (I forgot about this one) Creep, Hays, Southard and myself went from the parkway at London to 421 at Mckee via the trace. I think we pulled about 45 miles. It was going ok untill we reached whiteoak creek in Jackson county, then it was a 15 or so mile atv mudhole to 421. This trip took about 8 hours plus. I thought I might need help to get my bike on my truck afterwards!

I think Garmin GPSMAP 60cx is suitable to you.
