The trail bridge near Lick Creek on Section 33 of the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail on Stearns Ranger District is closed for safety reasons. The bridge will remain closed until further notice.

This was taken from the D Boone website, has anyone been here since the bridge closed? Is it possible to ford the creek? I am planning a thru hike and am trying to leave this thursday.

BTW, if anyone is interested I am leaving from Louisville thursday (hopefully) to start the sheltowee in Big south Fork at the new trailhead. If anyone would like to join me for a portion or possibly give me a ride so I dont have to leave my car for 2 weeks. I have gas money!!! Thanks
