That does sound like quite a challenge. I am having trouble reconciling the end points and the distance. Based on the mile marker map the end points are 51+ miles apart. Or am I confused on where the end points are. _________________ "His eyes were clear and pure, but his mind was so deranged." |

End point is downtown Livingston. the plan is for hikers to go past Wildcat and over the hill on the old road into Livingston - Wilderness Road portion, cross the Rockcastle River and then into town.
What is your reference point for the mileage? Trail guide, South Map Set, Google maps? _________________ Check us out at sheltoweetrace.twitter.com and on facebook in the hiking groups under The Sheltowee Trace. Sign up and join the discussion. I got the mileage from the mile marker map on this site. From the mile mark in the middle of the river at cfsp to the mark where the st crosses 25. Unless my math was off. _________________ "His eyes were clear and pure, but his mind was so deranged." |

I might be in. It all comes down to scheduling. _________________ "My cuts, short or long, don't go wrong."

Sorry I had to pull the plug on this because I just got the permit yesterday which was required before I could move forward. I still believe this is a interesting opportunity but will have to set a new date and start the process over again.
My apologizes. _________________ Check us out at sheltoweetrace.twitter.com and on facebook in the hiking groups under The Sheltowee Trace. Sign up and join the discussion. Become a member of The Sheltowee Trace Association and help us maintain and grow the Trace. |
