Well, after a few years, we're getting close on publishing the ST north map. It'll be printed on an 19" x 27" sheet at 1:31,680 scale, or 1" to a half-mile. That's the same scale as the south.
You view a proof of content here: http://www.outragegis.com/trails/2013/08/19/draft-of-north-sheltowee-trace-map/
Couple notes. The map is presented as a interactive map built from images, so they'll be a little jagged as you zoom in. Elevation contours haven't been labeled and the mile markers are not shown. The layout of the map isn't presented, just the content, such as roads, streams, points of interests, etc...
Currently, we estimate the new mileage to be 307 miles. We're thinking of starting the mile markers from the northern terminus. A simple calculation can convert north-bound trekkers starting from either the old or new southern terminus.
How's the alignment look? _________________ Help map trails by submitting your waypoints and trail photos. |

The draft you shared about the North Sheltowee Trace Map looks really great. I went through the site and really want to purchase it. Please share if you guys released the original version. Eagerly waiting for it.
Thanks- Ellery
