The STA has opened a channel on YouTube. Here is a link to a time-lapse journey this past January on the Trace from Pickett North during the first leg of the 2012 Hiker Challenge.

Too hard to watch. A slide show would be better.

The videos uploaded in the channel are very interesting. But I found them to be rather confusing to understand the route. The video moves in a fast pace so it would be hard to replicate the route by ourselves. Like what genes said, a slideshow would be better.
