As we gather with family and friends to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support to the work of the Sheltowee Trace Association and our efforts to "protect, preserve and promote the Sheltowee Trace National Recreational Trail as a significant national resource for the enjoyment of hikers, bikers and equestrians, and for the value that wild and scenic lands provide to all people."
We are so thankful to all our volunteers who have helped with maintaining the Trace this year, helped with significant improvements to the Trace, participated in the Hiker Challenge and other Outdoor Adventure Programs and joined the trail town working groups along the Trace to help bring economic development to the homefront.
In the months and years ahead, we'll continue to face some challenging opportunities as we lengthen the Trace and expand opportunities for all users on the Trace. But with your support, we'll be able to meet those challenges head on.
