Chester,

Sorry about the knees. When you feel up to it, try coming back out for a section hike with our group. We have a slow pace, mostly older hikers with knee and other issues. Great way to learn the trail and get some experience.

List of future hikes is posted on our webpage www.sheltoweetrace.org

Chester,

Don't give a second thought. You showed good judgement getting off the trail to heal up. You'll get it next time!

Thanks All!
I usually work on the weekends during the spring summer and fall. But maybe in the winter I'll be able to help out.

Knees are much better. Still going to the Chiro once a week and he says all should be well by November.

Been cross training this summer...hiking/cycling/running/yoga

Out on the trail sometime before January (I'm a winter hiker...less chance of running into a bear).
