The STA welcomes our newest partner, the Pine Crest Lodge in Lee Co. just outside of Beattyville, Ky. The Lodge is located just off Rt 52 north of Heidelberg, just minutes from where the trail intersects with New Virginia Rd.. They have hostel rates for hikers and are a great place for a much needed stop after the road walk out of Heidelberg.

Here is another link for Pine Crest Lodge. they have campsite as well as indoor lodging. Please consider using them when you hike in this area. They are also helping us with local land owners in getting the word out about the need to get the Sheltowee Trace back into the woods and off the road coming out of Heidelberg.
