The leadership in Rockcastle County has begun a serious effort to develop a coordinated trail system in the county. A trailhead destination for starting and ending trips has been opened in Livingston, U.S. 25. At this time they are developing bike trails - routes on the roads into and around Livingston including the Sheltowee Trace which would be a loop trail utilizing US 25 to Wildcat and North on the Sheltowee Trace over to 89 to 490 back to Livingston. They are in the process of developing services to go along with bringing users in for weekend opportunities.
