Clifton road turns into a gravel road and then into a dirt road and ends up on a blacktop road which is KY 1242. If heading south you then turn right and walk to US 460. Again turn right on 460 and then left on KY 77 which is Tarr Ridge Rd. |

Yea, I never made it to the 1242. I stayed with the creek and by the time i realized I was lost it wouldve been about an hr walk just to get back to where I lost the trail so I mistakingly decided to head south to 460. |

Crew cleared 3 miles of trail from Clear Creek parking lot to Natural Arch. One of the least appreciated sections but really has it all. We ran across two hiking groups, one from Lexington and one from Cincinnati. Nice to see folks in the middle of life are out using and enjoying the Sheltowee Trace. Thanks to the volunteers who came out to help. _________________ Check us out at sheltoweetrace.twitter.com and on facebook in the hiking groups under The Sheltowee Trace.
