Went out to the trail heading northbound from KY 32 to work on that large blow down that is blocking the trail. Work a little overe 3 hours on that tree alone but still "no joy" in getting the blockage removed. The down hill side is almost cut through--maybe 25% remains to be cut. The up hill side still has about 45% remaining to be cut through. My one man lumber jack saw isn't really long enough and it binds too much to make any progress now. Really need a two man saw or a chain saw to finnish the job. I did some axe work on the way in and out but broke the axe handle so that ended my day.
Steve--put me down for a total of 4 hours today.
If anyone has, or has access to, a two man saw please let me know and maybe we can set up a time to finnish this project. |

Jim,
Sorry you went alone. I would have come over but didn't get a call yesterday saying what time to meet as I thought we had arranged. I will put you down for the hours and we will get this done soonest.

Not a problem going alone as I actually didn't know until this morning that I would be able to get over there. It was really a last minute deal. |
