| Hi...We are planning to hike Sheltowee Trace Trail from Morehead District Office to Natural Bridge on the span of 1st July(Fri)-4th July(Mon).....Will anyone be available to give us a ride back to our car on the afternoon of 4th of July....from Natural Bridge to Morehead District Office.......Thanks a lot in advance! |

Hi. Thanks for coming down to Ky over the 4th and hiking on the Sheltowee Trace. I want to encourage you to also post your need for a shuttle on the Sheltowee Trace "group" page on Facebook. We have over 300 members of the group.
The STA has also sent word out to friends and members in that part of the state.
About what time are you planning on getting to the finish line?

Hi Steve,
Thanks a lot for your reply and all the information. We feel really happy to have people like you all in Sheltowee Trace Association.
We should be able to reach the finish line before noon of 4th of July, if everything runs accordingly. So 12 pm is our target time.

How many people are in your group? I live around the area and maybe be able to give you a ride depending on how many and gear?

Thanks a lot for offering the ride. We are 2-3 persons (+2-3 backpacks) in our group. But if you can give ride to one of us to our car that will be great as then he can come back and pick others.

| I'll be in the area doing the exact next section southbound, Natural Bridge to Turkey Foot. We'll be running our own shuttle to pick up a vehicle at Natural Bridge sometime on the 4th, though I doubt if we'll be out as early as noon. Never know though. If a bit later in the afternoon is ok, I should be able to run you to Morehead. |
