Over the next couple of months, we'll be spending weekends in and near the Big South Fork area...basically south of KY-80. Anyone wishing to hike along or have tips for must-see places, don't be a stranger! We'll be doing a lot of photography and mapping, so shutterbugs and cartographers are welcome. _________________ Help map trails by submitting your waypoints and trail photos. |

You can register by clicking on the "Register" link in the forum tool links in the upper right-hand corner on this page. You will need to supply a valid email address to register. That's it! You will get access to post and download waypoints. You will also be able to post photos to the Big Turtle Photo Club. Let me know if you have any problems.
The last trip was a 20-miler from Station Camp East Trailhead in Big South Fork up to the Sheltowee Trace and back via the John Muir Trail. Also I went out to Bronco OV. It is in the Big Turtle Photo Gallery.
The next trip will start from Great Meadows, go out the Sheltowee to where it was accessed on the last trip, and take the John Muir up through the John Muir OV and back to the Sheltowee. Probably 18 miles. I might start either Thu, Fri, or Sat... _________________ Help map trails by submitting your waypoints and trail photos. |
