The only Trails Illustrated map is for the Big South Fork. It is on PolyArt waterproof paper and for $10, it is a great buy. I bought mine at the Sheltowee Trace Outfitters near Cumberland Falls. That place is a campus!

The trails seem too generalized for the terrain and scale, but it covers a lot of land. That alone makes it useful. At 1:42,000, it is composed of shrunk and tiled USGS quad sheets and some of the text squeezes in around 3 points, whch is tiny.

Aside from the USFS map of Cave Run Lake (and the Fishing Hot Spots of the same area) what other maps are printed on waterproof-type paper?
