Sinking Creek
Miles: 18
Early rise out of site behind toilet house and noticed a drying out in effect. Entered a very scenic stretch of the Trace past Van Hook waterfall and well-groomed tread. Bridge spanning Sinking Creek, steel cable suspension kind. One of the longer days out so far. An early start makes the difference. Less poison ivy makes for less irritable trekker. Tomorrow to Bernstadt for resupply, if any, then on north.
