Please make a note on your trail guides and maps, because of the extensive flooding this past spring and summer, the Sheltowee Trace as it ran along the river has disappeared, caved in to the river. The State Park has rerouted the Sheltowee Trace onto Trail 7 and blocked the access.

Please do not remove the blockage thinking you are doing us a favor. The trail is dangerous in this section and you should reroute your journey up Trail l7 which is clearly marked with "turtle" blazes.
