Just visited the Triplett Creek swinging bridge after the flood. Water was over the bridge and the tread was filled with debris. Please be careful, if you are heading out. There is a missing tread that we will replace as quick as we can. The weeds to the bridge are out of control so we need a volunteer who can go s...pend maybe an hour to chop the weeds right at the north end of the bridge. FS knows of the situation and hopefully will have an engineer out to check the bridge when the water goes down to make sure it still is safe. Wow. Must have been some kind of current flowing.
Triplett is off US 60 between Morehead and Farmers.

I'll be happy to go chop those weeds. Send me a message and let me know what needs to be done exactly.
