With the help of volunteers from this board, the Sheltowee Trace northern terminus is open and it is a fabulous stretch of trail. Thanks to all that helped clear the trail.

This hike is a favorite of mine because it gets the blood pumping with 500ft vertical at the beginning and the reward is great when you reach the arch. Happy trails!!
Approximately miles 45-49 on the STT.

Day excursion around the Rockcastle Narrows loop and Sublimity. My dog Pixel step on a Rat'ler on the Winding Gap Trail spur but thankfully the serpent only gummed him.

Sheltowee Trace from Tunnel Ridge near Gray's Arch Trailhead. Best fall color I've seen in years. Started out for Hansen's Point and only made it about half way before rain ended trip prematurely. Still managed to get a few good shots before the sky fell-

I hike to the Sky High Knob Hoppng at Cave Run Lake Geocache. The Cave Run and Buckskin trails are 2 of the most challenging and refreshing trails in Pioneer Weapons. You have elevation, overlooks, switchbacks, streams, and lots of twisty remote encounters with turkeys, woodcock, and many critters surely unseen.
