Hi, I've just bought an Explorist 400 and now am attempting to climb the learning curve. It has been a tough climb so far. I've downloaded the gps files here but have had no luck in loading them. Do you know if the files can be imported into magellan's explorist 400? Do they need to be coverted? Anyone out there will an Explorist? I would sure appreciate some input from anyone who has worked with a GPS.
thanks

Gator,
Get this program (assuming you're on win/xp): http://www.easygps.com
Connect your GPS to your machine and turn it on.
Open the .gpx track file (from sheltoweewander, or the original) in easyGPS and send it to your GPS as Track data.
Did your GPS come with pc software? And if it did, what formats can it open? You might try http://www.gpsbabel.org/ to see to convert the data.
cheers...and don't go crazy!
